What does a website really cost in Jávea?
5 September 2026
"How much is a website?" is the first question almost everyone asks us, and the honest answer is that it depends on what you need it to do. Here is how we think about it at our studio in Jávea, so you can judge any quote you get — from us or from anyone else.
What you are actually paying for
A website is not a single thing. A fair quote covers design, the pages themselves, the text, the setup that makes Google able to read your site, and someone to talk to when something breaks. Cheap quotes usually drop two of those: the writing and the search setup. That is why so many businesses end up with a good-looking site that nobody ever finds.
Our starting point
Our packages start at €690, and every package includes the first year of hosting. Businesses within 10km of Jávea get 30% off. A simple brochure site for a restaurant, tradesperson or holiday rental sits at the lower end. A site with multiple languages, a booking flow or a large property or product list costs more, because there is more to build and more to maintain.
The running costs nobody mentions
- Domain name — usually €10–€20 a year, paid to whoever you registered it with. Keep it in your own name.
- Hosting — your first year is included with us. After that it is a small annual cost.
- Changes — new photos, a new menu, updated prices. Ask upfront whether you can make these yourself.
Questions worth asking any designer
- Will the domain and hosting be registered in my name, so I own them?
- Is the text written for me, or do I have to supply it?
- Will the site be set up so it can appear in Google searches for my town?
- What happens if I want to change something in six months?
A cheap site is only cheap once
The most expensive website is the one you pay for twice. We see it constantly on the Costa Blanca: a template site built quickly by someone who has since disappeared, no access to the hosting, no way to update the opening hours. Rebuilding that costs more than doing it properly the first time.
If you would like a straight, fixed-price figure for your own business, tell us what you do and roughly what you want the site to achieve. We are based in Jávea and happy to meet in person — no call centres, no obligation.
